Small Pedalboard Demo

Last week I decided to put this small board together:



Here's a not-so-quick demo of each pedal followed by some pedal combinations:

It's a Temple Audio Duo 17 with a VoodooLab Pedal Power Mondo underneath and assembled with TourGear patch cables. For the demo, I'm playing a BiLT Relevator into a Milkman Amp 50 DI/cab sim into interface with no post-processing.

The signal path is:

Fairfield Accountant
EHX Pitchfork
OBNE Signal Blender with 2 EHX Mel9s
Land Devices + Vongon Onset
OBNE BL-37
EAE Sending V2 with OBNE BL-44 in the fx loop and OBNE Ramper exp in

Not a small board by my definition, but still very cool.

A well done Temple board always looks so clean compared to my velcro mess where everything is a little cockeyed.

The Duo 17 feels small compared to my other boards, haha - Trio 21. Trio 28. and a 40x16 flight case.

The blended Mel9s is a cool sound.

Really makes me want to give the parallel effects thing a try.

so lately me and a friend have been testing the waters on doing a gig in finland together and i've been playing around with the idea of a pedal board that can fit in my suitcase along with a week's worth of clothing. it's been a fun thought experiment, granted, i'd probably have to go smaller than you but still.

but i think it's a fun way to think of pedalboards. what is the least we can get away with and still sound like ourselves.

p.s. love seeing OBNE pedals. they do my favorite delay and my favorite reverb ever.

I was discussing a small pedal board setup that would cover all my needs last night:

2 fuzz pedals and an H90, instead of 2 turntables and a microphone.

Thank you! Loved this. I really wish we had more board content like this! Thinking of making a thread. I’ve got a few pedals I want to grab, but I may do one similar. Except mine will be a large board. Albeit, probably not as organized and no special loop switching stuff. Anyway…did not know about those 2 OBNE pedals on the left. Very cool sounds coming out of those

I've had a couple parallel blenders over the years - it's such a blast to try different combos in parallel, the Mel9s are just the latest for me.

I had a Duo 24, but I’m down to a relatively few pedals at this point, so I went to a Duo 17, with Cioks power supplies. I am a major fan of Temple Audio boards.
