Well Hello, Kitty

OF COURSE JOHNNY BOUGHT ONE

What do you take me for, an animal?

This is a silly and fun little box. Sounds like a splatty, velcro silicone fuzz. It has it's own thing going on for sure but it's definitely a familiar sound. It's pink, fuzzy, and less than £100.

Here's a little video for you...
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

So, what circuit do you think it's based on?

It's the Fender Hammertone Fuzz but with the octave removed apparently. I don't think it's based on anything in particular.... Just that 60s Velcro vibe. It has an opamp in it though (but sounds nothing like a Muff).

I'm not sure, in all honesty. Sounds kinda like a Super Fuzz with no octave.

Give it a few months I reckon you'll be able to pick one up used for not a lot. These are flooding the market and it's definitely a particular sound that will be divisive.

White kitty came in yesterday (Fender webshop exclusive). Tried it out with a Jazzmaster and also with my Jag in weird Sonic Youth tuning. Kitty sounds really good. Had a fun little hour playing with her 😽

I bought one too, I haven't had a chance to try it but it sounded great on the YouTube demo with Yoyoyoshie from Otoboke Beaver, which kind of sold me on it. Just seems like a really fun little pedal.

I'm really hoping one lands at the local L&M. I don't know that I'd be able to resist, just for the silly-factor alone.

Woah! That looks ace!

Do I need any more fuzzes? Probably not, but I'd still love to try one of these out, just because...

Do any of your fuzzes have pictures of kitty cats on them? If no, then you need this fuzz pedal!

So, if I were to get one, this wouldn't overlap with a Fuzz Face circuit or a Ram's Head BMP circuit, right?
