At the recent Christie's Jeff Beck collection auction, his Klon went for £13,860. How 'bout them apples? :wtf:

Well, the association with a legendary player helped a lot with the value.

Doesn’t seem that wild to me, honestly.

I watched the first 30 lots and there were some incredibly high prices...some very deep pockets in the room, and remotely on the phone.

I managed to get my hands on the Christies catalog thanks to an old friend of mine and there were some really cool things on sale for sure.

It sold for a mere 11 grand.

Am I mad, thinking that the sale price isn’t even that much, under the circumstances (mojo provenance & current insane asking price for originals).

Joe Bonamassa probably bought it.
