Just ordered a D*A*M Ram Head...
Anybody have one of these?
I've heard they're pretty much the end-all be-all of my favorite era of Big Muff clones.
Should be a lot of fun!

I've got a D*A*M Ram Head .. I like it a lot. It sounds pretty much like what I would want from a muff. I've never had an original Ram Head to compare it with though.
Mr. M, D*A*M are a UK company building pedals mostly based on old stomp boxes. They're located just across the border from me: http://www.stompboxes.co.uk/

Their site has links to dealers, who will have prices.
I don't know of any clips I'm afraid. Maybe in their forum?

I've had a bit of time with this box now.
Definitely a great-sounding fuzz. So far, I've found that it sounds much better with my Jaguar than with my Telecaster.
I think it sounds better going straight into an amp, though. I had a few buffered Boss boxes after it (two PN-2s and a DM-2) and the sound suffered a bit.
It's nice to hear a Muff sustain like it should. The newer EH American reissues just don't do it for me.

Architecture students are like virgins with an itch they cannot scratch, never build a building 'till are fifty, what kind of life is that?
