I love it, I’ve got a mate with one of the new silver jets, this thing just wipes the floor with it. I think the Bigsby bridge is a massive part of the tone though.
That is a killer board! I'd love to play around with the UA pedals aloneUlricvonCatalyst wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 11:57 pm
Had a dog/cat-sitting gig at the weekend, so took my Tele along to take advantage of my pal's music room, not to mention his board.
Yeah, they're decent pedals alright. Not sure I found the delays/reverbs significantly better than others I've tried, but they certainly do the job well enough, and some will find the switchable modes a plus point.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 8:30 pmThat is a killer board! You know what? I should've zoomed in before posting! I had assumed (based on the shape) that all of those UA pedals were their amp-in-a-box pedals, not their effects pedals. I'd still love to try them some day, but the UA amp pedals are what I'm most curious to try!! I'd still have fun cat-/dog-sitting and playing on pedals I don't own thoughUlricvonCatalyst wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 11:55 pmYeah, they're decent pedals alright. Actually, the Lion one up top is a Marshall-in-a-box, which I didn't bother trying as the FX ones were enough to be going on with....and those dogs weren't going to walk themselves!Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 1:14 amYou know what? Ahhhhh Dimension C! That's one of my favourite pedals of all time. I'm all about stereo spatial effects to two amps when I can, to get that fullness, I think because when I produce records I use a lot of stereo spreading effects on the mix and then usually a stereo expander on the mastering stage. Shame they're so pricey though, they kind of live in that "why are all pedals new and used I want £200 these days" category.UlricvonCatalyst wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 11:57 pm

Haven't A/B'd them personally, but there are plenty of comparison videos out there.
I really should've zoomed in! I didn't even notice the Lion up there (to be fair, it's a dark-colored pedal). If money were no issue, I would buy a Lion, Dream, Ruby, and Woodrow. All the demos I've heard of those were absolutely killer sounding.UlricvonCatalyst wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 3:46 amActually, the Lion one up top is a Marshall-in-a-box, which I didn't bother trying as the FX ones were enough to be going on with....and those dogs weren't going to walk themselves!Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 1:14 amYou know what? I probably spent more time trying to dial in the compressor and the Klon than anything else, but yeah, the UA Deluxe is one I'd love to try.

These are even more variable than the Waza version as you can depress all four buttons simultaneously, in any permutation you like.
I have 3 of these at home. Never paid more than £25 for them (that's recently too). I even found another one for that money and gave it to GaryPtaszek as a gift.
Feel free to gift me one in future then
Yeah that's just a photo I grabbed quickly; I believe the one on the way to me is the 18v one, like the one I had decades ago (literally must have been about 2004). Love them. They're alright in mono but I remember having it hooked up to two stacks in parallel corners of the room and being amazed how much bigger it sounded in stereo.
