A girl has borrowed the SD1 now. Just for information.
Hell no. Since I decided that I don't need an OCD (to save money ) it's definitely my favourite dirt pedal I ever tried.bdm wrote: hey man, nothing wrong with a good RAT!

to me the OCD just sounded like a "nicer" RAT....a little too nice for my tastes.j-op wrote: A girl has borrowed the SD1 now. Just for information.

The OCD is like my dirt holy grail. Maybe a nicer Rat is a good description, yes. I find that the Rat sound great, but it distorts too much, even at low settings (I have the distortion on 9 o' clock and both the other knobs on around half past 1). I like the distortion I get with it and I liked it on about every guitar I played through it, but I can't get a crunchy edge with it. With the OCD, I could get a nice edge and the sound I like a Rat to do too.

Re: Post pics of your entire pedal collection!
I've jst gottem back into pedals (as I'm about to play in a real band for the first time in ages), so I dug out my old boxes....
The ones that works:
Behringer VD1 (the only new one I've got for the last ten years)
Bass Whammy
Cry Baby
Tube Works Blue Tube
Gollmer 60's Trem
EHX Small Stone
Boss CS-2
...and the broken and battered dirt pedals:
Sovtek Green Muff
MXR Dist+
Both needs new power supply jacks and/or battery clips. (and obviously some new knobs too)
I got some pedals I don't use (and still in boxes in the attic):
Boss:
CS-3 (comp/sust)
DD-3 (dig.delay)
CE-2 (chorus)
Ibanez ADL (analog delay)
(another) Gollmer 60's trem
Plus two brand new incoming:
EHX Voice Box
EHX White Finger (wich is the reason my order is late and that I may "upgrade" to a black finger)

Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

That's it right now. Double Muff, DS-1, and a '79 Distortion + I bought from peterherman.
I've got a Dano Fab Chorus on the way, though. And a Guv'Nor 2 that I never use.

Re: Post pics of your entire pedal collection!
dang, I need more pedals. All I have are 2 dod stomp boxed and a 505 zoom. I've been meaning to get a wah pedal for about 10 years now.
I finally finish building a guitar, go to play it, and then remember, "oh yeah, that's right. I suck at playing... Why did I build another guitar again?"

I was happy to note that I've whittled it down a bit- I'm adding a Klon soon- couldn't resist
I'm thinking of selling the Vibutron and BFD... and possibly reducing an overdrive.
My goal is to have 5-6 pedals and be done with it...for awhile

Nice collection!
How's the little green wonder? Those Mad Professor pedals interest me, especially the Deep Blue Delay.

Thanks- I really dig the LGW...I actually got it for a really good deal and planned on flipping it, because I generally am not a TS type of guy- but this thing rules and I can't part with it. I've been interested in his pedals, but they are just so expensive to come by...the PGS demos all sound so good...and of course the BJF pedals have a large following.
