Oooh that duo jet looks fantastic!
I am loving it! I’ve had it for a couple months now. It’s a ‘96. I replaced the input jack but all else is still stock. It’s like a Telecasters sibling. There’s a lot of overlap between them. The Dynasonics are awesome!

At this point, I try to no longer sell gear. I’m tired of rebuying the same things over and over :D As a result, there’s quite a surplus around these parts. It does keep things interesting.
Oh god, yes...there's a handful of pedals that I have bought and sold at least three times, some as high as five times :wtf: :fp: ...and they get more expensive each time I re-buy them! No more of that!! :D
So guilty of this.
My current Fuzz Factory is my fourth. The Bubble Font Sovtek is my fifth. Like half of the other pedals I have now, I’ve owned at least two or three previous times. I’m tired of that merry go round! I always go back and forth on stuff and it makes the most sense to hold onto it all. I can’t buy new stuff as often because I’m not selling what I already have, but I’m okay with that. I use a lot of different guitars and amps, so almost everything works out with something else.

Definitely in good company 8)

I have FINALLY figured the Fuzz Factory out. It only took 20 years. There’s so much more than the super trebly tones that I once that were always there no matter how you turned the knobs. I’ve finally find other sounds that are really usable. I’ll never sell this one. Well, maybe unless I found a sparkle one :shifty:

At age 40, I finally realised that I could google recommended pedal settings. Mind-blowing what you can learn! I mention this because i bought a fuzz factory on a whim a while back. Rather than throw it out of the window, I decided to ask some friends, and suddenly I started to get a collection of usable sounds.

So many pedals (particularly ones with 5 or more interactive controls) might not have been ditched before I found a use for them if I’d thought to do more than just my own, attention span-limited testing 🤦‍♂️

I've had a fuzz factory since 2000. I've got some settings that work with adjusting 9ne knobs for range of sounds ir theguitar volume. My favourite setting is what the fuzz if you've read the old harmony central list.

Last year I got a bliss factory. Woah thats complicated.

Would you fine Fuzz factory-fluent folks care to share some of your settings? It's the first boutique pedal I ever bought from overseas. So long ago, I had to be driven to the customs office to pick it up. Used it a bunch but not in the last couple of years. It seems to be too quiet until 9 on the dial, and then it's all out mayhem. Sound guys hate me, band colleagues at least raise a brow if they see me putting it on my board...

OK o clock settimgs with vol on 9 everything. Adjust to taste and remember that they sound slightly different as components changed.

What the fuzz 97755 basically two on min two on max

Slackers live setting 9 9 12 3 9
And. 9 3 12 3 9 so basically it's a 1 knobs variable fuzz from feed back to distortion to splutter all by playing with the gate knobs.

93355 was on the zvex site it's been 20 years so I've forgotten what's it's called

9 min min min max. This is boring fuzz. Turn up the drive until it squeals then back off. This is a fuzzface type fuzz. Another variation is when it squeals stop it with the gate not backing off drive.

92 10 2 10 this is forgotten fuzz but I forget what it does but remember the 2 10 positions.

Basic stuff for making your own settings

Back off the volume when adjusting squeal is wearing
The control names are nominal. Stab is voltage I think at can be used as a tone control.
Gate andor comp will induce splutter
With comp at max drive is bypassed. So if your drive and comp are on full, backing off comp will make a huge difference to the gain.
You guitar volume knobs will do turn down cleans or control the pitch of the feedback depending how the pedal is set.
Unless you have a fuzzface sound keep guitar volume on full.
Tune the feedback to the key of the song.

Added a Pigtronix Infinity 2 looper and a little LCD clock (we have an agreed 'quiet time' with our neighbours).

Annoyingly the pedal toppers are too big for the switches

Do you have a hot glue gun? I bet a tiny squirt in the topper would be enough for it to squeeze out around the switch and hold it in place. It would most likely come back off later with a bit of force if you needed it to.

Good idea. I do have one somewhere actually.

Somewhere in this house of chaos :D

Putting together a new board – something fairly simple and pragmatic. Just need to route power cables.

The Dark Matter may get swapped out for something else, depending on how I feel about it.
