Lately ive been working on a DeArmond TremTrol Clone. For those who dont know its a Trem unit that uses a fluid filled cannister (the hot guitar signal is passed throught the liquid) to get the smooth liquidy tremolo.
The can is rocked back and fourth buy a motor spining a tappered shaft wich spins a rubber wheel with an offset centre.
Pretty cool technology for 1949.

They're thin on the ground, not to mention the ridic prices on ebay. So here i am making my own.
It'll will be a slow process, but i working on it as much as i can.
So i built a little cannister just to see how it worked.
The orignials were brass with a glass sleeve. Which was always a hard part to replace, so i skipped glass and used acrylic.
My can is also brass, nice to solder and easy to work with.
you can kinda see the blue fluid in the second pic.
