Vibrato mod for a Small Clone, need help..

Hey,

Just got a Small Clone and I want to put the vibrato mod on it. There's not much info out there, just Experimentalist anonymous has a good explanation. I need someone to confirm that what I plan to do will actually work I have made a couple of fuzz pedals before, but I don't like much the idea of messing with these ehx boards.

Mod #1, to replace the depth switch with a pot.

As EA says, with a 100k audio pot, "So, find the depth switch, desolder the wires......then solder in the pot, as a variable resistor. One wire to the center, one wire to the side". I will drill an extra hole for the new pot. That seems to be easy to do..

Mod #2, vibrato mod.

AS EA says, "To do the vibrato mod, lift up one of the lugs of this 22k resistor". So here is where it gets confusing.

What I would like to do is to have a chorus/vibrato switch, and use for that the Small Clone depth switch. To do so, I should wire that 22k resistor leg to the switch, then back to the board. Right?

How? Does anyone have a diagram for that? Any hints?

Thanks!

Yeah you got it right, I made a crappy diagram for you anyway:

This takes me back, my first victim of DIY was a small clone. Must replace it at some point... Anyway, it's a good mod for a good pedal, enjoy!
