For Against made some great records in the 80s, very good ones in the 90s and great ones on the 00s.
Pretty, gloomy, and sad post-punk stuff.
Unrelated, I think I’ve listened to the first Elastica record three times in the last two days.

Gonna add two, the first is a bit of an oddity for the question asked. But I'm working on this piece, the music us stunning: Tarraga's Lágrima. Capricho Árabe & Recuerdos de la Alhambra are also, but much more complex.
As for a proper band, I discovered Moulettes tonite. One sing in particular and it is divine: "Songbirds." The band is not well known here in the Southern US. They should be. They are great!

I dunno man, those bands were HUGE. They have sold millions of albums and played in front of millions of fans-- most of them just happen to be baby boomers. It's not like you're in uncharted "hidden gem" territory there.Daitong II wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 4:45 pmI get so much shit for really liking The Steve Miller Band.

Hey, they're friends of mine! You can get guitar lessons from Harry at his home studio here in town.cestlamort wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 6:39 amFor Against made some great records in the 80s, very good ones in the 90s and great ones on the 00s.
