I was playing out last night and feel the need for some soothing girl tones because the new PA in the club I played was deafening.

I get all emotional when I listen to...The Shangri Las - Out In the Street. Surely the best of the girl groups.

And for something more recent Marissa Nadler - Mistress, a really gorgeous song dripping with lap steel.

Her Little Hells album is a must have purchase, it's not just a collection of songs, it sounds good all the way through with nice sequencing and is nice development on from her more folk sounding early stuff. She's great live too.

easiest is to use a bbcode fire fox add on or...

do this

then paste url here followed by this bracket]then after the bracket type what you want the link to say, then

no spaces between the elements
