My daughter's mad about their latest record, it's her default in car choice and she's in pre-teen heaven seeing a video packed with cool girls with guitars, who aren't in the band but who cares. ;)

I'm doped to the ears in allergy meds so these guys have really hit the spot in my super drowsy dreamy state. :?

Really great, I love them. The story about the original bass player turning Japanese Red Army Plane Hijacker is solid gold too.

This morning I'm all aboutArab Strap -Love Detectives (single mix).

I'f you've nothin' tae hide why hide it? I have a friend who's actual life was mirrored in this song causing me to suffer a horrible combination of sympathy and hilarity, he felt the same way too.

Aidan Moffat, Scotland's poet laureate ;)

and breaking my own rules of one song, The Clearing (single mix) is pretty fucking special. The album version isn't as good.

"Screaming In the Trees" is probably my favorite Arab Strap song, and one of my favorite love songs in general. http://www.deezer.com/listen-947757

Closely followed by "Islands". http://www.deezer.com/listen-943271

The Thermals "Here's Your Future." Saw them last Sunday, great show. I usually don't go for that style, but I really dig this song.

This morning I've been beavering away to Piano Magic and am especially loving; You Can Never Get Lost (When You've nowhere to go)

A criminally under-appreciated band.
