Good call on the Flamingos. That one grabbed me when I first got into "oldies" because of the American Graffiti soundtrack. It's like walking in a dream. Crowded House Don't Dream It's Over is always one that takes me somewhere like that. Maybe it's the dream imagery again, but those discordant sounding guitar jabs to open it always get my attention wherever I am. The lyrics are great too...romantic yet just obscure enough. Then there's the hook hey now....it really is a classic pop song, one of the best ever written I think.

After that I'll mention Debussy solo piano works. Any number of cuts but right now I'll say Reflections In The Water.

Also don't you hate when they take a a song that is really special to you and use it in a commercial? I feel like Elvis Costello, keep your fingerprints off my imagination.
