Easy All-Stars did Radiodread.

OK Computer re-done in a rubbadub stylee. Not my cup of tea (and I love both Radiohead AND reggae).
Amazing Album to my ears. They did Dark Side of The Moon as well and it's brilliant. Dub Side of The Moon !

Camper Van Beethoven – TUSK
The Walkmen – Pussy Cats
Ryan Adams – 1989

and I seem to remember a Moog-only Strokes record... (Diff'rent Strokes?)

Luther Wright & The Wrongs did a country version of Pink Floyd's The Wall. I like it.
Came here to say this. Caught them doing this one live a couple times when I was in college. Great show, loved watching the pedal steel being rearranged for regular slide guitar.

Sun Kil Moons Tiny Cities and Ryan Adams 1989 came to mind for this thread. I wonder if being human garbage is a contributing factor in covering entire albums the last decade or so?

The Phish thing has been mentioned before, but I read that they once covered all of MBV’s Loveless sometime in the late 90s.

Warning: I just watched this for the first time and it is truly awful and not for those with a weak stomach.

Jesus Christ it’s not that hard to approximate Only Shallow in standard tuning.

Props to the drummer for at least trying a little.

Scarlett Johansson’s album of Tom Waits’ songs is something I should not approve of but I can’t help liking it. It might not qualify as the covers span a bunch of different Tom Waits albums rather than one proper studio album. It’s a right oddity though.

I think my favorite album that best fits this description is Mad Professor’s No Protection which is remixes of most of the tracks on Massive Attack’s Protection.

Japancakes did a full album cover of MBV's Loveless using pedal steel in a weird country/post-rock style. Worth a listen if you're a die hard MBV fan like myself and many of you.

https://japancakes.bandcamp.com/album/loveless

Didn't Dirty Projectors do a full album cover/re-imagining of Black Flag - Damaged? I never listed to it, honestly I can't stand Dirty Projectors but I have always been curious since I do love Black Flag.
