Re: Bad Religion Punk--Book
Considering how widespread offset guitars are and how much shoegaze has made it into punk lately, it probably wouldn't be too far off from what currently passes for punk rock these days.interceptör wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 9:09 amAlso: all this talk of skate punk makes me wonder what an OSG skate-punk thread would be like.s_mcsleazy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 1:32 pmall this talk of skate punk makes me wonder what an OSG skate-punk band would be like.

Aye, totally agree. There's so much content now that people will just drown in it or at least get lost to the tide. You need to put the work in to make it stand out - the songwriting, the production, the performances, the attitude, the touring, the chops, the people skills (to promote and for interviews)... many more. If you believe in your music you owe it to yourself and your bandmates to push it (not too far, but often) at every given opportunity.s_mcsleazy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 4:47 ami think a lot of musicians tend to have this attitude of "if it's good quality, people will find it" but that's often the hardest part, getting people to find it and give a shit about it.
