new Kestrels single + record + US shows

My band Kestrels released our new single last week. It's called "Lilys" (named after the band, of course), and it's from a record called Better Wonder coming out Feb 14th on Darla. We've got some pre-orders available at Darla.com.

I'm a high school English teacher and recruited some of my students for the music video. It's half "Boys Don't Cry", half "Smells Like Teen Spirit" on Top of the Pops. Alex from Metz/Weird Nightmare sings on the chorus.

We just announced some shows in NYC for New Colossus Festival in March, and I'm booking a bunch of stuff in the US as we speak.

John Agnello mixed this record and it was mastered by Greg Calbi (talk about a dream team). Lots of cool gear including mostly Jazzmasters...I'll post about it closer to release date
