Lambchop appreciation...

Post by nealescott » Mon Sep 25, 2006 4:07 pm

they are just a magnificent ensemble, i am a huge huge fan.

i had the privilege of seeing their 'sunrise' show a couple of years back, where they performed music live
along with a 1920's silent movie behind them... it was just majestic.

should be going to see them again in the winter, and i'm loving their newest album 'damaged', it's great great stuff.

up with people!!

you know, just from listening to your songs i knew you were a lambchop fan. it´s not that your songs sound like them or anything, but there´s something in the way you play/write that makes me think of lambchop.

oh, and i meant that in a good way :)

I love Lambjop too - I've not seen them live yet - I'd love to though. Nixon and Is A Woman are my favourite albums. I love the way Is A Woman changes into a gentle reggae beat at the chorus... Great band, great song...  :-*
anyone can play guitar
