Two upcoming ones in June for Seattle-area folks.

First off I'm joining this bill in the opening slot Friday June 9th playing a rare solo set. I'll be playing a bunch of new stuff The Laughing Group has not recorded yet and a thing or two from past TLG and solo releases. Gonna bring an electric and try to pull off my best Bob Mould.


Next up is a show with Sun Tunnels where I back up my old friend Louis playing bass. Darrell's is one of my favorite venues in Seattle. Great sound and very laid back vibe.

My band Shirley & The Pyramids are heading out on a Western Canadian tour this week and I thought I'd post the dates here in case anyone lives near any of the cities and wants to check it out. We play mostly grungy shoegaze and psychedelic rock.

I play bass in a four-piece called Model Citizen* (one of the many, I'm told), and we'll be playing songs off this record at shows in Nashville, Athens, Asheville, Richmond, NYC, and Philadelphia starting this Friday, August 18.

We're a power trio plus combo organ doing a punky/rock'n'roll/throwback thing that apparently curries favor among people who like the MC5, the Who, Real Kids, Nerves, early Joe Jackson, Deep Purple, Stooges, Wipers, and so on. We have all dates and ticket purchase links available here. Would love to meet some of y'all out there!
