Jane Weaver - Cells (Loops Variation) I've been enjoying Loops in the Secret Society Janes elpee where she revisits tracks from her past two eplpees and some stray EP tracks. This is the full space angel Omnichord treatment.

Jane Weaver - Code (Loops Variation) not a massive departure from the whistful morriconeisms of the original (off the Architect EP) but still lovesly as my youngest is wont to say.

Jane Weaver - Element (Loops Variation) I love the original off the Architect EP and this isn't too different, it's just softer focus.

John Bender - 33A1 even 40 years after I bought this it still makes me smile

TOMAGA - Lilith Wakes Valentina Magaletti drums with Vanishing Twin and this little track is haunting me in the wee small hours with it whispering cyclical seduction.

T -Wood Blood Spanish from 1983 and unknown to me before I bought this reissue which to be honest is perplexing me like I'm missing the corner of a jigsaw. A must if you like to go spelunking in those Nocturnal Emissions and other minimal dabblers at the nexus of minimal wave and industrial

Staying seasonal, a great cover of Eddie Cochran's classic:

Antonio Vivaldi - Summer
Ooh yeah, that's hitting the spot. Been a rough couple of days and that's absolutely the calm in my storm right now. Thanks Bert!

Listening Center - Circe Cipher one for fans of Pye Corner Audio and The Advisory Circle. Chic Library electronics on the trusted Polytechnic Youth.

Listening Centre - Szafirowa I had this on in the car last night (btw no DL with the vinyl, you need to buy separate)

Khidja & Delusion Men - Ghost Caravan BANG! 99p from the Juno sale! This totally rules the dunes.

Khidja - Drums of Taksim seems time to repost this since that cunt Erdogan is on the downward slope.

Coil - Omlagus Garfungiloops a track trapped in the surface tension between Unused Themes and Algerian Basses.

Coil - The Gay Man's Guide to Safe Sex possibly the most unCoil Coil track ever coming on like a mixes of EMAWIAS period Ultramarine and Strange Cargo but it's good to have it on vinyl even it the real action is the 'bonus' tracks drawn from Stolen and Contaminated songs.

Coil - Nasa Arab I was once dancing to this out and this looned out girl with eyes like giant chocolate buttons started shouting something right in my face. I couldn't hear her but I suddenly realised she was just repeating the same word NIGHTINGALES. Fair effort but I'm more a wood pigeon having it off with a curlew man.

Melodien - Hermogenes just dive into this unctous kosmiche karamel. Cracking new 250 only elpee on Polytechnic Youth that had a lot of play in the cursed house of Shadowplay.

Clay Rendering - Black Vows kinda dissapointed with this album, I wish to fuck the guy would stop bellowing and I prefer the gloaming haar of Waters Above The Firmamentera but I'll give it another spin later tonight.

Nina Simone - See-Line Woman (Masters at Work remix) I heard Lady S arrive and she was playing Verve Remixed in her car.

Ella Fitzgerald and Barney Kessel - Wait Till You see Him. (De-Phazz Remix). Obviously it's easy to take pot shots at Verve Remixed but the good ones are often pretty great and I think this does a lot to show how amazing Ella's voice was and how in control of it she was compared to a lot of modern try hards. The main trouble with Verve Remixed is that the spunked their load on volume one and each subsequent one has been worse and the last one The Ladies was utter shite.

Astrud Gilberto - Misty Roses coupla tracks off in car going on holiday mix I made up for Lady S.

Wendy and Bonnie - By the Sea IMO the second half of this is utter vocal perfection, devastating understatement like some martial arts kill you with your pinkie move

Le SuperHomard - In the Park

If you don't know him check out Zafar Dilek. His records aren't exactly available in every shop but worth looking at as is some of the chat on OSG around Anatolian music.

Zafer Dilek - Yaşadım mı Öldüm mü

there's a killer re-edit of this by Mehmet Aslan which is easier to find (Disco Halal Vol 1). It's one of those songs you just need to get up to even if you're dancing like a twat with your hands above your head like an uncle at a Greek Wedding.

Mehmet's own music is great, check out Mehmet Aslan - Efsun

I know Mehmet Aslam a bit, but not Zafer Dilek. Thanks, I'll check him out!

Erkin Koray - Cemalim
i love that entire Erkin Koray album. great stuff.

my song of the day is probably one that will be considered a little weird.

Billie Eilish - When I was Older

she's an extremely talented young girl. the production of this track is very modern, but the use of things that i normally dislike (auto-tune) is more as a flourish rather than trying to tune her singing. that and the dark vibe of the track really works for me. i think she's got quite a career ahead of her. she seems like an intelligent young person, and i hope the industry doesn't destroy her.
