The Lees of Memory (Superdrag content)-now with sounds!
I have posted about this in another thread but thought it deserved one of it's own. There is a new group called Lees of Memory from John Davis & Brandon Fisher of Superdrag & recorded with Nick Raskulinecz! It also features Nick Slack on drums. I know there is some Superdrag love here on the forum & thought you guys might want to check them out!

Looks like it is being released through the Velocity of Sound label soon. There is a "7 coming first. Any fans of Superdrag & My Bloody Valentine should take note! It is going to be an amazing record!

Used to love Superdrag, but Industry Giants really fell flat for me. Pretty excited about about the new project though, hopefully it works out better than Epic Ditch did at least.

Re: The Lees of Memory
I mean, the record has a couple decent songs scattered, but it feels so Superdrag 101 instead of trying to do anything new. In that sense it was a bit disappointing.

Re: The Lees of Memory
Industry Giants had some great songs on it. "Live & Breathe" & "Everything'll Be Made Right" are both amazing songs. Has anyone checked out John Davis' album "Arigato"? It is a masterpiece but it was self released so I never heard a peep about it (plus it had a pretty bad album cover which never helps). Damn near flawless. Epic Ditch is great for what it is but I'm not a huge fan of that style of music. The Lees of Memory, however, is right up my (& a lot of people on this forum's) alley. Very My Bloody Valentine-esqe in spots. Fans of MBV & the early Superdrag are going to love it!

This sounds great! Thanks!
Obviously very heavy on the MBV influence, but tastefully done. This is such a sweet layer fest!

Re: The Lees of Memory
If you want a greater response to your post maybe make the thread title something more like "The Lees of Memory (Superdrag Content)".
