Seeing my friends/ one of my favorite local bands Loose Wing tomorrow.

They have a new record coming out in November that is outstanding.

Am insanely excited for this: Zoh Amba, Shahzad Ismaily, Jim White, Steve Gunn playing as a quartet, Lee Ranaldo solo at Littlefield on Sunday. Been kinda obsessing over Shahzad's work with Ribot for a while, but this is going to be next level.

I saw Autechre and Actress a couple of weekends ago in Sydney - fantastic sets, venue had some sound issues which took the shine off for me, but otherwise excellent.

Looks like I'm going to DC for this solo.

Speedy Ortiz is playing in STL Tuesday night so I think we'll go. I kind of lost interest after the 1st guitar player left, but its close, cheap, and the openers, Stuck and Foyer Red, sound interesting.

Blink-182 and Theo Katzman two weekends back! Katzman was amazing; mix was great and the musicianship was inspiring to say the least. May Erlewin as an opener was a great choice too.
Blink was a fun and good show but the mix was pretty shit. The guys looked fit and happy though. After all that they've been through; there's not much more you can wish for. The Story So Far as an opener was underwhelming once again.

I did not and am not doing any of this but Blonde Redhead was great.
