Greetings from underground. I am in the extremely enviable position of searching for a lefty Fender offset. As everyone here most likely knows, the options are not exactly abundant. Especially if you are looking for a classic edition. The most realistic options for me are the American Pro II Jazzmaster or the Kurt Cobain NOS Jag.
Does anyone know / have any experience modding the Cobain Jag? I would love to mod it to 60s era pickups, switches and rhythm circuit. Is this an exercise in futility?
On another note, does anyone have experience with maple fingerboards on a Jazzmaster? I have always had rosewood on my JMs so I am curious re: sound and playability / feel.
I hope you all are staying healthy and keeping sane.
