Hey Folks just reintroducing my self - My name is Nick from the Toronto area. I have an 85 MIJ JM and a 2015 J Mascis Squier. I originally joined the board back in 2006 as NickH but could not reactivate that account. Either way happy to see this place is still drawing a great crowd!

NICE. Is that the original black? I have a black '83 Tele which is just wood under the paint.
I have an A serial JM (on the neckplate) but there's no pencil date so it's hard to be sure if it's 85 or 86.

Black is a refin, over 10 years ago now. It was originally a very thick poly CAR but the various dings and cracks would literally nick your skin (no pun intended)
