Big fan of offsets here, although I only own one: my trusty Fender Jaguar CIJ.
Fell in love with it at 15 yo, which was around 15 years ago now... and it took me about just as long to learn how to set it up properly
Made a mess ordering wrong sized US parts and got the electronic and pickups swapped for US switches and AVRI 62s.
Spent a long time fiddling around with a spare Mustang bridge (wrong string spacing) and teaching myself to set the original bridge/intonation. Finally, a good shim in the neck (thanks Mike Adams for the tips), a pack of 12s and it's now (near) perfect.
My only regret: I wish I had binding and block inlays. Currently considering a refret or mod of my neck. I actually joined this forum to look deeper into this, so let me know if you have any info on that !
