Pleasure to meet you!

Post by larsthegeartheorist » Thu Mar 20, 2025 7:36 am

Hey everyone, figured I’d introduce myself. I’ve been playing and collecting guitars for years, mostly in the boutique and vintage world. Not a gigging musician, just someone who appreciates well-built instruments and the little details that make a guitar feel alive.

I tend to gravitate toward guitars that are a little off the beaten path. Vintage hollow bodies, boutique small-shop builds, and anything that feels like it was made with serious intent. I’ve gone through a lot of guitars over the years, but the ones that have stuck around are the ones that feel like an extension of my hands rather than just another nice guitar.

Currently playing:

1962 Fender Jazzmaster (refinished) – The quirkiest guitar I own, but probably my most played.
Moar Offset– A relatively unknown builder out of Denmark, but one of the most resonant electrics I have ever played.
Collings I-30 LC – Like an ES-330 but more refined in every way.
Moar Ella – My main acoustic. It has a balance and projection that’s hard to describe.

I’m always interested in talking about luthiery, unique builds, and just seeing what other people are into. Looking forward to some good discussions!

I'll do my best, I'm yet to figure out how to upload photo's here, I'm pretty old school. Do you accept fax or pigeon? I can send some photos over that way ;)
