"Hello" says the new guy.
Hey my name is Rusty,
I'm new here, but the fender jazzmaster is easily my favorite type of guitar and this site seems way more active than the other one I used to go to. Anyway, I'll post some pics of my offsets when I get a camera, but right now descriptions will have to do:
1. 59 JM refinished white (with matching headstock) and seymour duncan pickup in the bridge, its got a old flinstones puffy sticker on it, this is the guitar I will have till the day I die (unless it gets stolen, which would be tragic). my favorite.
2. 1976 JM sunburst, super beat up, necks got a crack in it. It has a replaced pick-guard with psychedelic designs (painted by me... when I was "bored" heh.) theres something really special about the sound of that guitar (especially the bridge pickup), plus the blocks and binding look classy. to bad it is the heaviest guitar I have ever held...
and 3. my Jazzblaster that I threw together, its got a huge maple neck and is black with a matching headstock , tune-o-matic bridge and collaged pickgaurd (old 1950s natl geographic images.) traditionalists dont like this one, but it turned out even better than I thought it would, a very solid sound.
anyway, cool to have a place where people share the same obbsession, and I'll get some pics up once I can find a camera. (my camera got stolen a while back, along with my acoustic guitar...)
