future offsetter... hey all

Post by stevejamsecono » Tue Oct 17, 2006 11:03 am

Hey Everyone,
I got bit by the offset bug awhile ago, and have played a few vintage Jazzmasters between know and then, and really liked them. At present I'm saving up to buy my first (CIJ probably, with a pickup swap and probably a mustang bridge). A friend of mine, fellow offset lover (he plays a Mustang) played a gig with me last night and rocked the house with his, so its reinvigorated my passion to getting one.
REALLY glad to find this forum, can't wait to join you all soon. I promise I'll post pictures!

Ah the days before I owned a JM... The long nites spent dreaming... The hours of working to save money... Man, they sucked!  I'm so much happier now that I have it!

God speed my friend!  May your cash flow greatly and your bug be mightily infectious!

stevejamsecono, welcome aborad ... just keep saving and you'll get there.  Then in a couple of years you'll be telling all your friends how cheap those guitars were "back then"  ;)
relaxing alternative to doing actual work ...
