I found the link to this wonderful place on Tom's webrocker page... In the FDP forum, I posted a few times as "Soundgardener" (I was there a few years earlier as "Sebastian", but then had no computer for a while and lost my password...). Oh, and sorry for my spelling... my english lessons are a few years ago

I play guitar and bass in three bands (the ashes of creation - pop noir, flinch - electronic noise folk, vermillion - hard groove rock, the first two websites include soundfiles recorded with my Jaguar), I like the music of John Frusciante (saw him at Bizarre Festival 1999 in Cologne - after that I HAD to have a fiesta red Jaguar!!

I started in 1998 with a Strat, but always loved the look of Jaguars. When I finally had some money for a japanese reissue in 2000, they were sold out, and then found a sunburst CIJ Jazzmaster. Great guitar, except for the usual bridge and pickup problems. In 2001 I had the luck to get a sunburst 1975 Jaguar for 250,- EUR (!) - tons of mojo, great to play, but very thin sounding noisy pickups. I tried some replacements, but was never really happy with the sound. Finally in 2003, I sold both the Jag and the Jazz and bought my first AVRI Jaguar in ocean turquoise - I call her "Greenie", she's my number one for songwriting, recording and playing live since then and will always be...

And since I play bass and guitar and always look out for new inspiration, I ordered the Custom Shop '64 Bass VI in August 2006 - I hope to get him until december for some upcoming live shows...
If you are interested in pictures of me and my guitars, check out my website http://www.bassgitarrist.de - it is german language, but you can find pics in the "galerie" menu, and some old live recordings of my former funk & soul band SOULFOOD in the "multimedia" menu. Enjoy!
