Introducing myself and my Bluescaster project.

Post by waldrips » Mon Apr 21, 2008 6:04 pm

Hi everyone,

My name is Steve and I live in San Diego..........I have the parts just waiting for the body to show up from warmoth.  Also, I will use Fender Strat SCN pickups instead of the Jag pup's.  Let Me know what you guys think.

I like it a lot!  I'd use a large headstock, personally....But other than that, it's cherry.

I've never tried the SCN Strat pickups, but my bandmate has the Tele SCN's, and they sound great.

You should post detailed pics of the build, along with a write-up about it, as soon as you get your parts.  People here dig that stuff.

Welcome to offsetguitars.com, BTW. :)

I personaly would stick with a JM trem, I think it's a great idea tho. noiseless pups would be nice.
It's not about the gear! It's about you, your hands, your imagination, your feelings.

Bigsby would be my second choice too, but it is unique!

I like the Bigsby.

There's nothing wrong with breaking the mould, especially if it's your dream guitar.

Call me an asshole, but it just looks like a cheap ass Jaguar clone.
