I doubt you'll find the combination of a late 50s guard and a mid-60s neck on many real world guitars, so I doubt if there are any around like this. Making one should be doable these days though.... it looks rather good indeed!

Mike (offyourface) used to have one... it was lovely... then he refinished it black  :'( :'( :'(

Oooops, sorry. Wasn't even thinking about period correctness - only how good the brown and gold looks - it just happened to come out that way. Hahahaha...
But yes, now that you put it THAT way... I do have a lot to learn about all of that stuff... hahahahaha...  ;)

Considering stripping the 3TS poly off of my MIJ and going that route - but a bit more walnut with the stain...

Looks quite cool.

I think Nolan posted a pic of a Tele deluxe with a walnut finish and a cream/aged perloid some time ago - looking quite close to that clour combo.
Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?
