A Partially Zwan inspired Guitar
Basically I was watching a video of Zwan playing live, at PinkPop, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfcjR2A4PzQ, anyway Corgan was playing this really nice 70's jag with black pickguard and a B+B Maple neck, and I really liked it so I made a custom one. Tada

The fact that it wasn't a pre-CBS Jag didn't seem to bother him too much.

Just to clarify - that wasn't a dig at you but at all of the purists who shrink up their noses at the suggestion of playing a CBS-era guitar.Naturality wrote: Wouldn't bother me much either.

Yeah it was. As you can see in the video, James Iha from the Smashing Pumpkins was playing with them. So if they can get that quality still, the Smashing Pumpkins reunion is going to be AMAZING

I think he's David Pajo, not James Iha.Naturality wrote: Yeah it was. As you can see in the video, James Iha from the Smashing Pumpkins was playing with them. So if they can get that quality still, the Smashing Pumpkins reunion is going to be AMAZING

I heard that was James? Maybe it isn't him then. Oh well, the reunion will still be great

no that´s definitely david pajo. he was a regular member of zwan. although i can´t understand what he and matt sweeney were thinking when they joined that band.Naturality wrote: I heard that was James? Maybe it isn't him then. Oh well, the reunion will still be great

Yep it's definitely not Iha, him and Billy weren't on speaking terms at that point. Pajo could have done so much more, Slint were such an amazing band yet Zwan were so poor?mynameisjonas wrote:no that´s definitely david pajo. he was a regular member of zwan. although i can´t understand what he and matt sweeney were thinking when they joined that band.Naturality wrote: I heard that was James? i ordered to a luthier almost the same guitar : only the finish is different.
would it be possible to do the same image in a natural finish?
that would be very nice of you!

That's some bad hat, Harry
