Why did he decide to shave it? He's not bald for any health\natural reason. Gish is such a great and underrated album.

It's insulting to us who are naturally balding!

I don't think he was, did you see his hair during Gish and Siamese Dream? He shaved around Mellon Collie time (1995). I doubt it was thinning, I think it was just to be weird.

I was looking at the web and found some poor people on a very quiet forum and nearly everybody there thought this was a custom shop  ;D Then one person sorted them out. How silly!
