I voted "Leave it". White is classic on a Jag or JM....Of course, I'd lose the humbucker, though.

Damn kids, get off my lawn!

both sonic & daphne blue are awesome. but if you do refinish the thing, why not do a matching pedhead?
i personally would go for a mint pickguard with sonic blue, or white with a daphne blue, but that's just me.
"What is their fixation with our ears?"
"I believe they're envious."

You could go for a darker blue, like Lake Placid Blue, or even darker, like the Rickenbacker Midnight Blue, but then you might want to change the pickguard as well.
Refinishing is a pain though, have you thought about just changing the pickguard if you really want a change? Or is your guitar pretty beat up?

My vote is 2+3 and LEAVE the humbucker!! It would look great. How do you plan on painting it? ReRanch?

I found another blue for you...
the pickguard is kinda cool though but should have blended in a bit more with the controlplates...
..the EHX Stereo Polychorus: Like giving your guitar some LSD..
