not like that, two different kinds of red on white look ugly.

In fact I don't like competition stripes at all, I'd leave them off regardless of the colour.

That's an intersting take on the Fender headstock... slimmer, like a tele, but shaped strat-ish. I like it.

I've got a hard tail jag!  But that's mostly because ihave a jag with a rusty spring that doesn't move.
I prefer their older stuff.

Did you say your gonna use a Jag body? Won't that leave gaping hole where the tremolo should be?

Custom body... no trem route.

I remember photoshopping a guitar like that. It was a 12 String Fender with a Jag neck. Looked good.

its ok *no offence* i dunno the only striping i really liked were on the 70s orange Competition Mustangs
  hmm... i wonder how a jazz would look like with that might make an interesting project
