Never recorded before...what should I get first?

hmm dont know what you are talking about.. i just recorded a song with 11ms latency on asio4all and i didnt have any problems with the timing...

i wont post it here because i can see people react like "you idiot, this is so out of time" but some of my friends listened to it (also musicians) and they didnt recognize anything so 80% of the listening crowd including me wouldn't either ... but this is just my opinion..

edit: oh and of course i didn't got the WET signar through my headphones but just the dry signal but it works for the moment until i get an interface
