With Off Topic offline this seems like as good a place as any to ask as my usual need for such a thing is checking mixes.
iTunes/Apple Music makes working with anything not Apple a huge pain in the ass.
I just want to be able to make playlists of files to compare different mixes, try sequences, etc….
It would be cool if it also could pull from files from various places on my phone ex. Voice Record which I use for band practice recordings.
What do you use and like?
Audio file player for iPhone recommendations?

I use 'Flacbox' to play my audio, but I'm not sure it'll meet your needs. 3

I use it as the native offerings don't support FLAC, which a) is completely ridiculous and b) I have a large collection of.
I am also leery of 'Apple Music' or whatever it's called as iTunes was such a pile of garbage.

^Cool. Going to give it a shot.
I haven’t gotten into FLAC, but yeah Apple is trash for this kind of thing.
Ugh. I guess I have to pull the files down from Dropbox or Google Drive? That’s a little annoying since they are already on my phone.

Wait, what? No - I store my music collection locally on the phone. It should be able to scan the whole file system and present these under ‘Offline music’.marqueemoon wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 12:20 pm^Cool. Going to give it a shot.
