hey everybody

i have an "old" digirecorder      http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/1995_ar ... xdmt8.html

and want to change the harddisk with a dazzling :• Internal 540Mb Quantum IDE drive gives 12 minutes of 8-track, CD quality recording.
anyone have any ideas on how to do this
is there a way to copy or clone the original disk with everything on board or is the information elswere ?

i think with those, you could buy a scsi card, and hook up another hard drive.

don't quote me, it's been YEARS.

yeah sure enough

when i bought it (had to have it !! get the picture ? )
five months later they came out with a scsi port !!!!

now am stuc with some (nice ) piece of digital history  ::) >:( ::)

for what i know the OS is not on the hard disk  but will it recognise a new disk ?

I had a boss br-8 that I changed out the Zip drive on, and it was pretty much the same process without all the formatting. It really looks more difficult than it is.
Why should we buy postage stamps? We can make our own.
