I am looking for a device that I can record my first demo's/EP's/albums with. Just two amplifeid guitars. No drums, no bass and no vocals just me and my buddie.
Can I get good sollid recordigs with the Roland R-09?
Or are the better recorders out there?
Please help me out.
Thanks.

Re: Roland R-09?
I'd recommend a 4 track, and a couple of mics. The boss Micro BR or something similar. Any of the Boss BR series are easy to use, and affordable. That way you could do over dubs if you need to.
Thefostex MR-8 MKII is a lot of bang for the buck too.

Why should we buy postage stamps? We can make our own.

Re: Roland R-09?
Thanks for the responces.
What I am really looking for are just good stereo recording, the rest I can do in Fruity Loops. Plus I have some other editing sofware.
I don't whant to spend to much money, say around 200/250 dollars.
Can you advise me wich device I should check out?
Thanks agian.
