very simple, to be honest.
we used one mic for the bassdrum, one for snare + hihat, one for crashs and toms and one overhead. we didn't want to place too much mics because they would bleed anyway and we didn't want the frequencies to cut each other .. or how it is called.
best sound came from the DI of the bass-amp and the musicmaster bass which we used sounds awesome.
