merciful superman, this is beautiful!  I prefer mini-humbuckers on a firebird, but this finish is spectacular.  Is this faded pelham blue?

I've always had a soft spot for these guitars, they look incredible and this one is no exception.  Unfortunately the only one I ever played felt horrible.  It had the largest neck I've ever handled I'd say.  It was huge and very sqaure.  The neck joint was also way up the fretboard and it felt weird trying to play up higher.

Mmmm, I don't like the reverse models....
I wish to propose a doctrine which may, I fear, appear wildly paradoxical and subversive. The doctrine in question is this: that it is undesirable to believe a proposition when there is no ground whatever for supposing it true. - Bertrand Russell

I could never get along with the neck on mine either, that's why my ex-singer has it now (if he hasn't sold it on). But my compliant was that it was too narrow as well (thick and narrow), the string were too damn close together. Odd.

What's that colour, BTW? Aged pelham blue?

It's not about the gear! It's about you, your hands, your imagination, your feelings.

That's my dream guitar. Pelham blue, P90s and vibrola. How can you go wrong?
