Shame the wrap is near irremovable. I got my drummers old mount tom that had this ugly red wrap i stripped it right back and did a walnut stain on it, it turned out really well.

Good job on the free tom. I would have went for the blanket but thats me.

In the condition you describe it was most likely headed for the trash.
Have you ever done a rewrap before Brad?

cool! weird about the wrap, is it heavy? Does it make it sound weird?
my old drummer is a drum builder and he's restored all makes... I can ask him for you. He can get wraps cheap, too...
I guess you're leaving it as is
Also, I see you're using the 'speaker' mic technique for the bass drum. I LOVE that sound. I love it mixed with an M-88 personally (well, depends on the drummer...)

Yeah, I did read that. Just wondering if you had before.
I think there's a guy selling a kit that looks exactly like yours. I'll see if I can find it....

Here's the add. Sorry they're Rogers not Slingerland. I thought they were Slingerlands, I guess I was wrong.

Hey Brad - are you talking about the north 11th space? If so... are you sure that stuff isn't Pete's, in room 13? You might want to knock on the door and ask, I have a feeling it's probably his. The kick drum out there is definitely his.
Oh by the way we practice next door to each other - I found that out when I saw "Corn Mo" walking into the space and introduced myself. He agrees that you are a big guitar nerd.
