Re: new suitcase organ
hmm nice.
there's a wiki (in german): seems like the company started out with (blues) harps and accordions. these organs were built from '55 on until the 70s.
it works like a harmonium (pump organ), but obviously electrified.

Re: new suitcase organ
I got an Italian version of that - Not as fancy as yours, but with chord buttons to the left (like an accordion) of the keyboard - It has an electric fan that blows air through the valves. It's cool but totally useless as it's off by almost halv a note in tune. No pics, cause it's stashed away...
Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

Is that a reed organ? I used to have one, but it was sharp so I left it behind when I moved house. I got an accordion instead
. I would really like another one if I could find one that was in tune.

I bought one of these today at a thrift store for $10. got it home and took it apart to figure out how to fix it, and the fan is missing. looks like it blew up by the black residue on the metal plate. would you be willing to take a picture of the underside of yours where the fan is for me so i know what to look for/how to rig a fan for it?
