I just picked up a 70's set of Red Sparkle Pearl drums I found on craigslist for $175.
I just got them set up and tuned and they fucking rock, I'm so excited.
Here's some shitty phone pics to give you a good idea of what my new toy looks like

I wasn't even really in the market for a new set, cymbals, but not a kit; but I've been lusting after kits like this since I started playing, so I guess it was just my time.
You should come over to Colorado, it seems like every Drummer and their Drumming mothers are selling kits (most of them shitty starter kits, but a few gems like mine) for super cheap and moderately cheap.
