I'd even be happy with a good talk-sing voice, like this:

I wish I could play Piano like Brad Mehldau and drums like Billy Martin.
I also wish I had a sitar kicking around. I've played them before and they're really fun.
I also wish I could play a mean Saxophone. I don't got the lungs for the wind instruments. Although I used to play clarinet.

whoa.. Arab Strap! I forgot all about those cats. I heard a few of their tracks back in the late 90s and haven't came across them in forever.
I really love the track "cherubs"

Six pages in and no love for the Jew's Harp? You disappoint me, Mr Anderson.

doesn't seem like it applies to aaron spears... and i think he plays the drums pretty much.
i'd really like to be able to play drums as well. i'm seeing myself more and more like a rhythm guy. to be able to play those drums like, for example, aaron spears would be so awesome. it's just so damn groovy and tight. some day i actually think i'll get more into it. i'm just afraid i will never pick much up and really get good and then i would think it was a bit of a loss/time waste.

i wish i could play an mpc. i know it doesn't seem like you really "play" any of that kind of stuff, but being able to use an mpc predominantly in a live setting would be really cool.
that and being able to sing ad actually know what i'm doing.

Harpsichord. I have had a fascination with them since I was 3.

If by "could play", we're talking about flipping a switch and becoming a virtuoso on a particular instrument, I'd probably choose the Guzheng:

No idea why but I've been enamored with them for as long as I can remember. I'm Irish & Scottish by descent, you'd think I'd choose the pennywhistle or something

Runners-up include the Piano & the Cello.

I need to buy a drumset. I started on drums and still love them. Guitar and bass are fun but I want to hit things w/ sticks w/o being arrested and the drums are the best way to do that.

Yea, me too. They definitely are very unique sounding instruments. Clavichords/clavinets are pretty cool too.
