Thanks, I appreciate it!

There's actually a full, acoustic drum kit in that room as well. Probably the only one in the building to be honest... And for obvious reasons.

Seriously?? Why is this the first we've heard of it?
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

Needs moar keyboard!!!

Just kidding, that looks really cool. Glad you got the mixer working for you, rather than having to go another route.

Seems weird (to me), just because I typically find that reverbs will lean more towards distortion than delays, but it can also depend on the pedals themselves and what’s going into them.

That can be really cool - I noticed years ago in a couple of older Silversun Pickups videos, that the keyboardist was using a couple of pedals and getting sounds that I originally thought were done with the guitar (Lazy Eye specifically), but you can see him playing with them on top of his keyboard.

Edit: Didn’t notice the 2nd page, nice drumset.

I've faced the same annoyance in trying to pair my pedal collection up with keyboards. Obviously one solution is to start with the volume fader at zero and ease it up so it doesn't distort, but not having to think about that was one thing that led me to invest in a reamp box. I got a Palmer Daccapo as it was about half the price of the others, and have no complaints so far.

Hey, what kind of cymbals are those, and do you like them?

I bought a set of cymbals (forget which brand) with the bigger holes in a ring around them, to use with my drum set, which which is still sitting in cases since before I bought the cymbals, so I haven’t tried them out yet. No room for the drums to be out, too much other music shit everywhere.

I’m curious if they have a special or a reduced sound, or what the effect is with all of the holes. They look cool as shit.

The room is very hip and you have a nice view - what floor are you on? Looks like 10-15 plus, easy.

Those are the Zildjian Low Volume cymbals. They're not bad, they do what they're supposed to. The ride is a bit "kangier" than I'd like and not as sizzly as the hi hats. But hey, A LOT less loud than real cymbals.
