I replaced my old Microbrute with an MS-1 and couldn't be happier.

Another satisfied user. Never owned a real 808 or 303, but since last year, the RD-8 and TD-3 get me there.

I know the sounds real well from 25-30 years of listening, and I'd be hard-pressed in a blind test. The modern conveniences like MIDI and some of the (now fixed in the RD-8) sequencing options.

I don't know if they're 100% sonically accurate, but it doesn't mean one can't make f'in great music with them. Quibbling about that last 5% seems like time that could be better spent using them.

Frankly, for abt $350, being able to experiment with making "real" acid house and techno has been a godsend, and I've been more inspired to make music since getting them. I'm not in love with Behringer as a business entity, but never had any of their gear fail and their cheap prices give more people ways to make music. Currently saving up for the SH-101 clone and if they ever release that RD-9, I'll be there.

Eagerly awaiting the UB-Xa, but I think I'll be waiting a bit longer than I'd hoped...

Another one on tenterhooks for the UB-Xa. I recently heard that global chip shortages are pushing it back farther. I'm assuming we're at least a year and a half out.

The Poly D is neat, and the mono/poly clone is neat, too. If they made a Korg Trident clone, I'd probably get that. As it is, I'm kind of making an exception with the fauxberheim, just because all their shit is made in China and I'm trying to give as little money to the CCP as possible.

This sweetwater waiting list is news to me, so I better go sign up on it.
