Anyone know where to get obscure violin information?

All instruments that aren't guitars (or bass guitars).

Anyone know where to get obscure violin information?

I've got an old violin that's unique. It came from Germany but no idea of the age. Lots of inlays all over it including a large decoration on the back. Looks like it was inlaid into some black epoxy or something. Anyone know any violin experts? I'd like to get this badboy appraised.
Nina, it's Wednesday! Where are the angry eyes?!?!

Most violin-family specialty shops could help you out. They are always very knowledgeable. They are as obsessed with violin luthiers as we are with Fender!
