Your non-guitar (or bass) wish list
What instruments do you wish you owned, or intend to own in future?
Main ones for me:
1. Banjo - either a tenor (4 string) or a 6 string: I'll never play real bluegrass banjo, I'd rather use it as a different kind of stringed instrument
2. Mandolin - again, I wouldn't use it in the usual way
(It's easy to say "one of everything" or "all stringed instruments" but I'd prefer to see which specific instruments OSGers are GASsing for.)

So this is stringed instruments only?
In that case: cello, viola, piano.

No, any musical instrument you want. Woodwind, brass, percussion, all welcome in this thread.Pingu wrote: So this is stringed instruments only?
But I'm more interested in things people think they might actually get one day than stuff you'd just sort of like to own. I'd like to own at least one of every musical instrument ever made, but my shortlist is things that I will own at some point, if possible.

I might actually get at least one of those instruments in the not too distant future. Well, piano would require a bigger apartment, but a shitty student viola is completely realistic.djetz wrote:No, any musical instrument you want. A Stylophone, Minimoog Old School or Little Phatty, and an all-Maple 4-piece (probably Sonor) Jazz drum kit.

Vox Continental (duo), Farfisa Compact Duo, Yamaha CP-70. And a bigger house to put them in. If that last thing works, a good acoustic piano would also be welcome. And a drum kit. A saxophone. Shit, everything, really, I love instruments.
