im not gonna lie i dont know anything about moby's music at all and have never bothered to listen to his stuff. but this video interview of his apartment is pretty cool and shows off his extensive drum machine collection. it made me wanna find one of those old ehx drum machines.

yeah i thought the same. cant say i was suprised though.
i personally thought it was funny he would rather put 6000 pounds of sand under his floor than just buy a house instead of an apartment.

I'm sure his place in NYC is at least $2 million. Some would just rather live in a city.

I've got one of them (and a space drum), which was £10 flea market find, if you do disco they are godlike. I'm pretty sure Arthur Russell used one on his disco proto house stuff and on Dinosaur L, at least the records sound similar.
thats awesome. ive been really into weird arthur russell type stuff lately. been looking for an easy to use drum machine lately. kinda want something fully analog like a tr 606. but dont really have money so its all just internet fiending right now.

i love drum machines...

but every time, the thought of a drum machine is always much sweeter than playing with one....i like my drummer to have a pulse
