i got mine for Xmas and it was broken! so now instead of a 30$ synth its gonna be like 100$

Yeah, I have a couple of Japanese guitar mooks and they're awesome for just the pictures.
Anyways, was the PC board already assembled? It looks like it has SMDs.
I've seen a couple of interesting mods like depth for the LFO and a resonance knob, but it's kind of hard to decipher the Japanese pages even with a translator.

yea, the board's all ready there, you just have to screw a couple things together and snap in a little cable...my board lit up but didn't produce any sound. bummed me out because i was so excited! and the store on ebay won't do refunds!

Where did you find one for $30? I see them for sale here and there online, but not as cheap.

I don't think I'm getting one. To run MIDI you need a 9V source and the thing runs on 6V. Too much of a pain and I'm not knowledgeable enough to make them both run on a single power supply.
